Made for Dragon*Con 2016. Probably one of the more ambitious projects I've done to date, in part because it involved the first large-scale prop I'd ever built.

Components

Coat

Altered commercial pattern. Velvet-like mystery fabric, lined with a recycled polyester kimono.

Pants

Based loosely on a traditional garment pattern. Hand-dyed raw silk, stamped with a hand-carved stamp and screen-printing ink.

Armor

Made from a variety of patterns, built from EVA foam, and painted with Angelus leather paint.

Wig

Epic Cosplay's Apollo in white, dyed grey with alcohol inks.

Anchor

Built out of EVA foam, PVC pipe, and a lot of contact cement. Painted with Angelus paint.
