Quick casual outfit with mostly store-bought components. The most work I did was to screen print the back of the jacket, and alter a pair of men's pants to fit better. Also replaced the buttons on the jacket with better ones.

I originally planned to do a freezer paper stencil on this, as opposed to doing a full screen print (photo emulsion screens get nice results, but it takes awhile) and learned the hard way that freezer paper does not like to stick to cheap polyester, and you will only frustrate yourself trying. The print didn't end up pristine, but the way it turned out lends to the 'punk-ass teenager' vibe, so it was a happy accident.
